Covid case numbers steady

THE number of reported covid cases has steadied in the second day of the long weekend, according to today’s (June 12) figures from ACT Health.

There were 643 (365 PCR and 278 RAT) new cases reported, compared to yesterday’s 696. However, the number of active cases in the ACT lifted slightly to 4515 from yesterday’s 4400.

Hospital numbers also remained steady with an increase of only one over yesterday to 80 covid infections. There are two people in intensive care, but no-one on ventilation.
