Covid hospital cases continue to hit new highs

COVID hospital cases continue to scale record heights today (June 26) as daily case numbers soften.

According the latest numbers from ACT Health, there are 116 people in hospital with covid compared with 105 yesterday. Only one person is in intensive care and no-one requires ventilation.

Daily covid infection numbers have fallen back from yesterday’s 1116 cases to 819 (437 PCR and 382 RAT), however there are still 6179 active cases in the ACT.
