“BOOP” by Statera Circus, billed as a hilarious 50-minute family show that immerses audiences in physical theatre, clown and inventive acrobatics, sees the everyday supermarket transformed into a joyous world of trolley races and terrifying stunts. The Q, Queanbeyan, 7.30pm, March 30 and 31.
“I Don’t Go Shearing Now,” a musical salute to shearing and the wool industry, will be at The Picture House Theatre, 82 Yass Street, Gunning, 2pm and 7pm, April 2.
LATIN performers will feature at the Cuban Latin Fiesta, Saint James Church Hall, 40 Gillies Street, Curtin from 6.30pm, April 1.
THE premiere of “The Thing That’s Missing” by Canberra playwright Elizabeth Avery Scott will be presented by Perform Australia’s Advanced Diploma of Performance students, Mill Theatre, Building 3.3, 1 Dairy Road, Fyshwick, March 29-31.
GEOFF’S Poetry At Smiths features poets KA Nelson and Jelena Dinic, Smiths Alternative, 7pm, April 3.

- TUGGERANONG Arts Centre’s next exhibitions feature Landscapes from along the banks of the Murrumbidgee by Mark Dober, cartographic works by Peter McLean and John Pratt and Nicci Haynes’s show, “Incidental TV”, March 31-June 3.
- “ALL Fours”, drawings and paintings by Lucy Chetcuti, Canberra Contemporary Art Space, Manuka, March 31- April 9.
- FOUR new exhibitions at Belco Arts are opening on March 31: ceramic pieces by Nichola Leeming; “Staying with the Trouble”, Linda Dening, Kim Mahood, Sally Simpson and Wendy Teakel; works by artists from The Broad Collective; and works by artists from the Lime Flamingo Collective. All run to May 14.
- GLASS artist Kirstie Rea’s latest exhibition, “Breath/e” showcases works that have just returned to Australia from Toyama, Japan, as well as new pieces, including Rea’s signature folded glass work. Suki and Hugh Gallery, Bungendore, until April 30.
- “LIGHT, Colour, Humanity – The Legacy of Alastair Swayn”, curated by Ian Wong from Monash University, Canberra Museum and Gallery, Civic, until May 28.
- CRAFT ACT Craft and Design Centre has the following shows running until May 13: “Homage 2022”, Indigenous artist-in-residence exhibition; “Boundaries 2022”, artist-in-residence exhibition; “ Two-Tone” exhibition by Louis Grant and Madisyn Zabel.
- “SOMEWHERE here” by the artist collective, “nowhereprint,” a group of 16 artists from Tasmania, is at Megalo Print, Kingston, April 1-May 13, with an artist talk at 4pm, April 5.
- “NURTURING Nature”, woodcuts by Heather Groves (Brenchley). Rusten House Art Centre, Queanbeyan, April 1-May 27. Opening event, April 1, 2pm-4pm.

- LUMINESCENCE Chamber Singers presents “Of The Body”, featuring the premiere of a new song cycle by Dan Walker. ANU Drill Hall Gallery on March 30 and All Saints Anglican Church, Ainslie on March 31.
- SYDNEY band Joeys Coop will be at Smiths Alternative, Civic, March 31.
- CANBERRA Legacy’s Variety Concert with Keith Potger, Royal Theatre, National Convention Centre, 2 pm, April 1.
- CANBERRA Choral Society and The National Capital Orchestra will present “The Seasons” by Haydn, Llewellyn Hall, 3pm, April 1.
- “Touches of Sweet Harmony” will be given by mezzo-soprano, Christina Wilson and Alan Hicks on piano. Built around the words of Shakespeare. Wesley Music Centre, Forrest, 3pm, April 2.
