Police and emergency services are scouring the bushland around Sulwood Drive, Kambah, today in search of Tim Lyons, who has been missing since December 13.
Police have been conducting extensive searches across the last month, particularly in the Tuggeranong region, and are asking people who live in the suburbs of Gordon, Conder, Banks and Richardson to be on particular alert for potential sightings of him.
This is the fourth appeal for public help to find Tim, who was last seen in Gordon at about 4pm on December 19.
Police describe him as Caucasian in appearance, about 175cm (5’8”) tall, with a slim build, fair complexion, close cropped hair, a full black beard and green eyes.
He was possibly wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and black boots, and in possession of a leopard print blanket and other bedding. Tim also has a scar on his right eyebrow and a piercing at the top of his left ear.
He doesn’t have access to a vehicle and normally gets around on foot or uses public transport. He is not believed to be in possession of a mobile phone or have any access to funds.
Police and Tim’s family hold significant concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate him. Call 131444.
