A man accused of extensive family violence offences over five months, is alleged to have contacted his victim on Wednesday night, sending a threatening photo message with an image of a pipe bomb.
Police allege the offences include intimate image abuse, assault, threats to kill and breaching a family violence order.
In the early hours of Thursday police and the bomb squad swooped on a Duffy home and arrested the 48-year-old man.
He has been charged with breaching a family violence order, aggravated common assault, intentional threats to kill, using a carriage service to harass, threatening to distribute intimate images and dangerous driving.
