House fire follows alleged home invasion

A home on Paull Place in Kambah was extensively damaged by fire on Thursday night.

Police believe it was deliberately lit by one of a group of people involved in an alleged home invasion of the house.

The fire was extinguished by ACT Fire and Rescue, and no one was injured in the blaze. All the occupants of the home escaped before emergency services arrived.

Police are now investigating the home invasion incident and the subsequent fire and want to speak to anyone who witnessed the fire, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area before or during the fire.

Call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
