This includes $48.8 million attributed to visitors to the city.

A total of 462,322 people attended, of which the government estimates 216,651 (46 per cent) were visitors to Canberra.

UniSport Nationals, which also took place in September, generated $10.4 million in economic impact to the ACT, the government says. A total of 11,603 people attended the event, staying in the city for an average of 5.1 nights.

The event saw more than 6000 participants from 42 universities across the country compete across 31 different sports.
