Four men scramble in shooting argument

A 20-year-old man has been charged following an argument in which he is alleged to have shot at four men several times in Coree, to the west of Canberra, on Saturday afternoon.

Police say that at around 4.30pm, the man was in company of four other men known to him when a verbal disagreement broke out. The man retrieved a firearm and used it to shoot at the four men multiple times.

Police rescued the men none of whom were injured in the incident.

Just after 10pm police caught and arrested the alleged offender who was riding a quad bike attempting to exit the property. He has been charged with four counts of discharging a loaded firearm causing a person fear.
