Fatal accident in Holt

ACT Policing is investigating a single-vehicle collision in Holt this evening (Sunday 3 May) in which a male driver has died.

About 5.40pm, police responded to a report that a car had collided with a tree on Stockdill Drive, Holt.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

This is the fourth fatality on Canberra’s roads this year.

Police ask that any witnesses to the incident contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
