THE Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue helicopter service has a new sponsor in the form of TransGrid, the company which operates a massive network of high-voltage power lines that connect power stations to electricity retailers.
TransGrid has agreed to contribute $35,000 to SnowyHydro SouthCare, which completed 498 vital air ambulance trips in the 2012-2013 financial year, following a meeting between the respective CEOs of the two companies on July 12.
