Fatal collision on the Monaro Highway

ACT Policing Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team will prepare a brief for the ACT Coroner after a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred on the Monaro Highway this morning (Monday, 5 September 2016).

Around 3.50am, police responded to reports of a collision between a utility and semi-trailer between Royalla and Williamsdale, in which a male has died.

The driver of the semi-trailer did not sustain any injuries and is assisting police with the investigation.

The Monaro Highway, between Royalla and Williamsdale will remain closed to allow the Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team to investigate the collision.

This is the seventh fatality on ACT roads this year.
