CANBERRA’S three-week lockdown and escalating covid situation has forced the ACT Magistrates Court to close today (August 16).
All persons who are due before the ocurt today will be advised when their matter will be relisted, according to a statement released by Courts ACT this morning.
“Any persons who are in custody and due before the court for a bail application will be contacted during the day, the court will hear these applications remotely.
“Any person who has a concern about their matter should call the court on 6205 0000
“The court will advise as soon as possible whether operations will continue on Tuesday.”
