THE number of new covid cases has nearly doubled in a day and active cases in Canberra have risen slightly, according to the latest figures today (December 11).
ACT Health says there were 11 new cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night compared with only six cases the day before. Active cases have risen by three in that time to 76.
Patients in ACT hospitals with COVID-19 as at 8pm yesterday numbered five, including two in intensive case. No one is on a ventilator.
