Saturday’s lockdown latest in facts and figures

Here are some armchair facts and figures for Saturday, day three of the Canberra covid lockdown: 

  • There is one new case of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT in the past 24 hours.
  • There are now seven active cases associated with this outbreak.
  •  As of 9am today, ACT Health continues to work with up to 4500 people who have self-identified as close contacts.
  • There are currently no COVID-19 patients in Canberra hospitals.
  • There were 3126 COVID-19 tests collected from ACT testing sites and more than 1500 through private testing providers, bringing the total to just over 4500 on the first full day of lockdown. Of these, there were 1983 negative test results returned so far.
  •  There were 2254 vaccinations administered in ACT government clinics in the 24 hours, bringing the total vaccine doses administered to 167,332.
