FLORIADE, Canberra’s month-long floral celebration of spring with a million blooms, attracted more than 427,000 people for its first year back after a two-year covid break.
Running from September 17 to October 16, Floriade’s “Sounds of Spring” theme defied some indifferent weather to draw a total of 427,768 visitors to Commonwealth Park, putting it in the top-10 attendance achievements of the event’s 35-year history.
The government says Floriade will return to Commonwealth Park, September 16-October 15, 2023, with theme “Floral Wonderland”.
