TWENTY elite young local dancers will take to the stage this weekend to perform “Unhinged”, the next instalment in The Training Ground’s original full-length contemporary dance works. Choreographers Suzy Piani and Bonnie Neate have turned the comedic 1870 ballet “Coppélia” into something deliciously modern. Erindale Theatre, 7pm, July 28-29.
THE National Film & Sound Archive’s Jane Campion season runs from July 27 to August 2, beginning with “The Portrait of a Lady”, Arc Cinema, August 27.
THE popular Indonesian market Pasar Senggol (Bumpy Market)will be at the Indonesian Embassy, Yarralumla, 11am-4pm, July 29.
THE ACT Historic Places Art Prize Exhibition, a celebration of art, heritage and creativity, will open at the refurbished Lanyon Homestead, Tharwa, 1pm-4pm. July 29.

- “BURLESQUE Brunch” is making a comeback, with prizes, games, trivia, bingo and other challenges, at Flazeda Hub, Belconnen, July 30.
- “HAY Fever” is often judged Noël Coward’s greatest play. Directed by Joel Horwood, it’s at ACT Hub, Kingston, August 2 (preview) to August 12.
