An AFP employee is facing a charge of attempted murder following an incident in Gungahlin on Friday night.
The member, who has been suspended from duty, is also facing charges of with intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm and aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The police say they will make no further comment.
