Police are looking for the woman in this security video that they allege entered the Friendly Grocer store in Swinger Hill and threatened staff with a light brown handgun.
She demanded money and cigarettes from the teenage supermarket workers during the incident at about 8.50pm on Sunday, February 16.
Police say that despite no one being physically injured, it was terrifying for the staff involved.
The woman fled with cash in what’s believed to have been a white Toyota Corolla hatchback.
Police describe the woman as Caucasian in appearance with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a tan face mask, a black hoodie covering her head, blue denim shorts and white sneakers.
Anyone with information should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
