Covid exposure sites grow

ANOTHER store at the Canberra Outlet Centre has been listed as a close contact exposure site after a Gungahlin man in his 20s tested positive to COVID-19 yesterday (August 12). 

Anyone who visited Windsor Smith between 2.45pm and 3.15pm on August 8 must immediately quarantine, get tested for COVID-19, complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, and remain in quarantine until advised further by ACT Health, even if they get a negative test result.

Other sites added to the list of close contact exposure sites include:

  • Gunners Place Youth Centre, Gungahlin, 1.30pm-2.30pm, August 11.
  • Pellegrino Cafe, Fyshwick, 8.30am-8.35am, and 12pm-1pm, August 11, 8.30am-8.35am, August 12.
  • Turkish Delight, Kingston, 6.35pm-6.45pm, August 11.
  • Gold Creek School (including early childhood learning centre), Nicholls, 8.25am-5pm, August 9, 8am-3.15pm, August 10, 8am-5pm, August 11.

Casual contact exposure locations in the ACT have also been listed overnight, including:

  • Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School (including early childhood learning centre), 8.25am-5pm, August 9, 8am-3.10pm, August 10, 8am-5pm, August 11. 
  • Big W, Gungahlin, 3.45pm-4.30pm, August 10.
  • Kmart, Gungahlin, 3pm-4pm, August 10.
  • EQ Cafe and Lounge, Deakin, 6.30am-4pm, August 11, and 6.30am-10am, August 12.

Anyone that has been to any of those locations at the dates and times specified must  complete the ACT Contact Declaration Form, immediately quarantine, get tested for COVID-19 as advised by ACT Health and remain in quarantine until they get a negative test result.
