THE ACT has recorded 21 new covid cases, with six of them infectious in the community.

Fifteen can be linked to already known cases, with 14 of them in quarantine during their entire infectious period.

Eleven people are now in hospital with covid and one of them remains in intensive care in a critical condition.

The new case numbers bring the total number of cases associated with the outbreak to 211.

In good news, ACT chief health officer Dr Kerryn Coleman says two people have now recovered.
