A WEETANGERA man allegedly hid a camera in a bedroom and made “intimate” recordings of her without her knowledge.
Police believe that this went on for several months.
During a search of a Belconnen residence, police located a hidden camera in the bedroom and a laptop computer.
The computer contained intimate images and video recordings captured by the hidden camera.
The 52-year-old man has been charged with intimate observations capturing visual data of another person.
Police enquiries into the hundreds of other recordings located on the computer are continuing, and are expected to identify other victims. Police anticipate laying more charges against the man.
