Daily covid case numbers hit new record

THE ACT hit a record number of new daily covid cases with ACT Health today (December 30) reporting 253. This is one case up on the previous record set on Tuesday.

The new cases, recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday, increased the active cases to 1134 and the total number since the current outbreak began on August 12 to 1134.

Hospital patients with covid have increased by two to six, however none are in intensive care nor on a ventilator.

There were 3996 negative test results received in the 24 hours to 9am today.
