Man stabbed during argument at Queanbeyan unit

A MAN was stabbed in the head, neck and arms following an argument at a Queanbeyan apartment over the weekend.

Police are investigating after a 42-year-old man, known to his victim, stabbed a 40-year-old man multiple times at a unit block on Lowe Street around 8.30pm on Saturday (May 21).

Police say the man who was stabbed fled the scene, making his way to the Queanbeyan Police Station to report the incident, before being taken to hospital.

The 42-year-old man was arrested the following day (May 22) and charged with wounding with intent.
