Woman charged with breaching family violence order

A 21-year-old Queanbeyan woman is facing the ACT Magistrates Court after allegedly assaulting her partner during an altercation early on Saturday morning.

At about 5.45am police responded to reports of an altercation between the 21-year-old woman, her partner and another resident of a home in Macgregor.

Police say it was alleged that on arrival the woman slapped her partner several times in the face and bit him on the arm.

She was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated common assault and breaching a family violence order.
