Canberra Theatre Centre has an executive producer

Lisa Freshwater… in a new role at Canberra Theatre.

Former executive producer at the Sydney Fringe Festival, Lisa Freshwater has been appointed to the new role of executive producer at Canberra Theatre Centre.

According to director Alex Budd, Freshwater’s leadership skills would be important for the Canberra Theatre’s redevelopment project.

She has spent the past 20 years working in theatre and major events, most recently at the Sydney Fringe Festival and as festival producer at Sydney WorldPride.

Freshwater will take up her role on November 25.
