Greenhills inspires kids’ art

DURING September, 60 students from the region attended the Illawarra and South East Region Visual Arts Camp at the Greenhills Camp and Conference Centre just off Cotter Road.

The students from years 5 to 8 took part in intensive workshops in landscape painting, botanical illustrations, ceramic animal sculptures, fantasy paintings and felting.

The end result was two finished pieces both in two and three dimensional forms, to be exhibited from today at The Q.

“Two Days at Greenhills,” at The Q, Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre in Queanbeyan until the  official closing of the exhibition will be Saturday, November 3 at 11am. Exhibition hours  Monday to Friday 10am- 4pm and Saturday 10am- 3pm.
