A 29-year-old Lyons woman is assisting police with enquiries in relation to the robbery of an elderly woman at the Commonwealth Bank ATM at Woden on Friday, March 15.
The elderly woman had just withdrawn money from the ATM when her purse was snatched. The elderly woman was unharmed.
Acting on information from the public, police searched the 29-year-old woman’s unit at Strathgordon Court.
