Act of indecency at the Chisholm Vikings car park

A 35-year-old Chisholm man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, October 18) charged with stalking and act of indecency.

Police will allege the man committed an indecent act on a 23-year-old woman as she walked to her car on Thursday night (October 16) in Chisholm.

About 11pm the woman left the Vikings Club and was walking to her car when the man committed the act of indecency. The man fled the scene shortly after.

Detectives from Criminal Investigations took carriage of the investigation and arrested the man yesterday (Friday, October 17).

Police will also allege that the man stalked a female police officer in a separate incident.

The 35-year-old Chisholm man was conveyed to the ACT Watch House and charged over the indecent act and stalking. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
