Four women injured in two-car crash

Four women have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Weetangera just before 3pm today.

The Ambulance Service was called to the intersection of Springvale Drive and Belconnen Way and took two patients, a 69-year-old and 36-year-old, to Calvary Hospital with minor injuries in a stable condition.

The other two patients were taken The Canberra Hospital., where a 56-year-old is in a serious condition with lower body injuries and a 78-year-old is in a stable condition with minor injuries.

ACT Fire & Rescue also provided assistance, sending two pumpers.
