Can you help police find the latest Latham robber?

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after an aggravated robbery at the Latham Handy Mart yesterday afternoon (Monday, 20 April).

Around 4:15pm yesterday, a man armed with a pair of shears entered the store on Wanliss Street, Latham, and approached the employee making threats and demanding cash.

The employee complied with the demands and the man fled the store. No one was injured during this incident.

The offender is described as a Caucasian man, with an average build and curly blond hair.

CCTV of the offender was not available however, police obtained imagery of a man who entered the store just prior to the robbery. Police believe this man can assist in the investigation and urge him to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131444.

The man is described as Caucasian with an average build. At the time he was wearing a light grey ‘hoodie’ with a black motif on the front, a baseball cap and dark-coloured pants.

Police are urging anyone who may have information about the robbery, or could assist in identifying the man who entered the store prior to the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online via act.crimestoppers.com.au
