THE Canberra Environment Centre is putting on their annual Harvest Festival on March 28.
“The bounty of local produce in our region is a cause for exaltation and The Canberra Harvest Festival is the place to celebrate!” they say.
“The Harvest Festival is a place to meet the people who grow your food and to buy their produce. It is a place to learn backyard skills at a free workshop or indulge in one of the Environment Centre’s local produce burgers. It is a place to enjoy live music with a glass of local wine by the lake while the kids enter their efforts in the veggie growing competition. It is a place to celebrate our region and the food that we produce!”
Date: Saturday March 28
Time: 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Location: Canberra Environment Centre (Next to the National Museum)
