“CONTOUR 556: Interventions in the Landscape”, the public art festival, winds up this weekend with “Water Stories”, a large-scale video installation work by Alexander Boynes based upon the theme of water produced collaboratively with dancers and musicians involved in Arnhembrand, and Praxis, a multi-disciplinary art,music and dance collective. The Fitters Workshop, Kingston. 7pm-10pm, November 10-13.

BEAVER Galleries now have painter Lucy Culliton, ceramicist Anna Culliton and artist Barbie Kjar exhibiting at 81 Denison Street Deakin. Works by the Culliton sisters can also now be seen at the National Portrait Gallery.

THE Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture now have 15 contemporary Australian artists exhibiting in “Seasons of Birth”, at the Chapel on the centre of Kings Avenue and Blackall Street.

TWO new exhibitions experimenting with the limits of analogue film are opening in the PhotoAccess Huw Davies Gallery from 6pm, November 11 as part of the Inner South Arts Hub Art After Dark and Art + Ride program of events. They’re the first of the PhotoAccess 2016 Residence Season exhibitions.

THE Drill Hall Gallery now has a new show, “Repurpose” with Matt Arbuckle, Peter Atkins, Chris Carmody, Nicole Ellis, Erwin Fabian Robert Motherwell, Elizabeth Newman and Trish Roan. Curator, Tony Oates will be in conversation with artists at 12pm, November 12.

“BLACK White Bronze” is an exhibition of stone sculpture, bronze works and drawings by four artists, now showing at The Q Exhibition Space, Queanbeyan.

BELCONNEN Arts Centre has the opening of two new exhibitions 5:30pm, November 11. The focus will be on Moira Nelson, the 2015 recipient of the Canberra Arts Patrons Organisation and the Belconnen Arts Centre’s Inclusion Award.

“MEMORIA, platea” (latin: memory, place) is an exhibition highlighting six artist’s work in ceramics, painting, etching and photography— Tiff Brown, Sarit Cohen, Mark Mohel, Macdonald Nichols, Peter Ranyard and Peter Rohen — at Blaxland Crescent, Griffith, 6pm this Friday to November 27 (Wednesday to Sunday 12–5pm).

“IN Depth” shows the shared aesthetic approach of glass artist Joanna Bone with photographer Aaron Micallef, at Canberra Glassworks, until January 15.

“HABITUAL/Ritual”, curated by Sabrina Baker and Anja Loughhead, features sound, ceramics, painting and print by Grace Blake, Kirsten Farrell, Shaun Hayes, Reuben Ingall, Patrick Lamour, Alycia Moffat, Al Munro, Eadie Newman, Leena Riethmuller and Kai Wasikowski.
