A 75-year-old man drowned at Kambah Pool this afternoon (January 22).
At about bout 12.30pm police received reports of a man going missing after entering the river.
Police, search and rescue, AFP Maritime Operations, the Ambulance Service and State Emergency Service personnel, supported by the the rescue helicopter, searched downstream before the man was found dead in the water at about 3pm.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
