FORESHORE Festival 2012 will have a new home at Commonwealth Park in 2012.
The music festival will be held on Saturday, November 24.
Organisers Kicks Entertainment said working with the National Capital Authority to bring Foreshore “back to the Foreshore” after being moved to the parliamentary triangle last year has lead the event to the other side of Lake Burly Griffin.
“This is an exciting venture for the Kicks team as it takes the festival back to the iconic Lake Burly Griffin foreshore, where the magic of the event first started in 2007,” a statement says.
Commonwealth Park will host the summer festival in 2012, encompassing Stage 88, Regatta Point and the surrounds, including the Lake Burly Griffin foreshore.
The Foreshore 2012 line- up will be announced tomorrow morning. Foreshore Festival 2012 will again be spread across multiple stages.
