Nick and Liesl at the Front

Nick and Liesl
AUSTRALIAN-SWEDISH alt/folk duo Nick and Liesl have enjoyed a busy year.

In 2011 they toured Australia, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland, with their debut album “Feather,” returning in time for the summertime Woodford Folk Festival.

During their European tour, the pair returned toSwedenfor some family time and, inspired by the haunting winter darkness there worked on new material for the next album. Now back in Australis, they’ve also written a stage play.

Stylistically the pair covers a range of folk, pop, blues and soul, all in harmony.

Nick and Liesl, at the Front, Lyneham, 7pm, August 12. $15 at the door.
