Kitchen blaze causes $80k damage to southside home

A KITCHEN fire has caused an estimated $80,000 damage to an Isabella Plains home this afternoon. 

Firefighters say they “confined the blaze to the kitchen with smoke and heat damage to the four bedroom house”, on Leibnitz Place.

Three fire pumpers the Breathing Apperatus van and a command officer were on scene.

No injuries were reported.
