MELBOURNE band The Stillsons released their second single, “Feel So Young,” and have put together a tour of the ACT, New South Wales and Victoria to coincide with the single’s launch.

Recorded live by Sean Cook at Applewood Lane Studios in Queensland, “Feel So Young”  Is written around the idea of lost innocence, and as the band says,  “taps into the energy and grit of 1970s super group Fleetwood Mac.”  Lead vocals are by Cat Canteri.

And talking of Fleetwood Mac,  Bear heats “Go your own Way” seems to be referenced in the title, “Never Go Your Way,” of The Stillsons third LP, to be released later this year.

The band’s  previous release “Earnest”, was named ‘Album Of The Week’ by six different radio stations — ABC Radio Australia, ABC DIG, ABC Gold Coast, ABC Bendigo, Coast FM (NSW), and Radio Adelaide.

The Stillsons, at  The Front, Wattle St Lyneham, Friday,  July 5, with Cilla Jane as support. Doors 7.30pm, $15 at the door or bookings to mountainkingmusic@gmail.com

“Feel So Young” is accessible on iTunes and at www.thestillsons.bandcamp.com
