Narrabundah assaults – man charged

Police-car-0574-175x175A 26-year-old man has been charged of assaulting two people in Narrabundah late yesterday afternoon.

Around 5.45pm, police went to Gowrie Court, McIntyre Street, after receiving reports that a person had been assaulted and found a 38-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both from Narrabundah, with assault-related injuries.

Both were taken to hospital.

A search located the 26-year-old man at a nearby bus stop. He was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
