Witnesses sought to Dickson bar brawl

A MAN needed surgery to fix a broken nose, eye socket and cheekbone injuries after he was assaulted outside a Dickson bar on Saturday. 

Around 11.30pm a fight broke out between two groups of people at the Hostage Bar, Challis Street.

The 32 year old man suffered a broken nose, eye socket and cheekbone injuries.

The alleged offender is described as being of Islander appearance, approximately 183cm (6’) tall, aged in his 20s and wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the assault to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or viawww.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
