The smell of smoke shuts down Fyshwick servo

FIREFIGHTERS are currently investigating a smell of smoke at a tyre business on Ipswich Street, Fyshwick.

Beaurepaires and a nearby Service Station are closed as a precaution.

ACT Fire & Rescue has found no fire at this stage and are continuing to investigate and conduct atmospheric monitoring.

Firefighters have given the all-clear.

No fire was found and the tyre outlet and near-by Service Station have now re-opened.

ACT Fire & Rescue is about to depart the scene.
