Evacuation at ACT Health

ACT Fire & Rescue is investigating a smell of gas in the ACT Health building, Moore Street, City.

Part of the building has been evacuated as a precaution.

Update to follow.

Approximately 150 staff have been evacuated and will be allowed to return shortly.

No gas leak was detected and the odour has dissipated.

The odour was detected on level three near the kitchenette.

ACT Fire & Rescue will complete with atmsopheric monitoring shortly.
