CDT’s GOLD Company is a group of over 55’s who love to move, laugh, create and perform. Established 4 years ago with an ACT Health Grant they now have over 30 regular class members, three classes a week and have commissioned 8 nationally and internationally recognised choreographers and performed in the National Gallery of Australia, Portrait Gallery, CSIRO Discovery, Floriade and the National Multicultural Festival.

“CityNews” recently spotted them performing in the Courtyard of Gorman House for the farewell of Ausdance ACT chief Neil Roach.

During the evening, hosted by Palace Cinemas, guests viewed a screening ‘The Golds’, a dance documentary about the GOLDs created by award filmmaker and former director of Vis a Vis Dance Canberra, Sue Healey.
