ACT Parks and Conservation Service wishes to advise the public that a series of hazard reduction burns at Latham and Dunlop will commence from tomorrow, Wednesday 19 August 2015, weather permitting.
The Latham burns will occur tomorrow at Umbagong District Park, south of Ginninderra Drive, and will be approximately seven hectares in size. The Dunlop burn will be conducted on Thursday 20 August 2015 at the Canberra Nature Park, adjacent to Douglas Waterhouse Drive and Kerrigan Street. It will be approximately 10 hectares in size.
