ACT Policing is responding to a report of a suspicious package located at the Tuggeranong Hyperdome this morning (Wednesday, 10 June).
Around 10am, ACT Policing received the report that a suspicious package had been located at Coles supermarket, which is located within the Hyperdome.
ACT Policing is providing a coordinated response with ACT Fire and Rescue’s HAZMAT and have cordoned the area as a standard safety precaution.
Sections of the Hyperdome have been evacuated and a number of businesses have been requested to cease trading for the duration of the incident.
UPDATE: A white powder has been deemed harmless:
