Police still pushing for robbery witnesses

POLICE have released CCTV footage of an offender on to their Facebook page as they press for witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the IGA in Isabella Plains on Friday, October 14.

Police-car-0574-175x175At about 8 o’clock on that night, a man approached an employee at the rear of the supermarket armed with a gun and demanded cash, escorting the employee into the store.

The offender fled on foot through the rear of the premises with cash. Police describe him as being of slim build, about 178cm (5’10”) tall with blue/green eyes. He was wearing a black balaclava, all black clothing and brown work boots.

Witnesses or anyone who may have any information should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website (reference 6023402). Information can be provided anonymously.
