Bikie gun, drugs, and explosives bust in Theodore

A 24 year-old Theodore man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Friday, 19 August), charged with breaching bail conditions.

About 3pm yesterday (Thursday, 18 August), ACT Policing Taskforce Nemesis officers arrested the man in Kambah following a breach of bail conditions and he was conveyed to the ACT Watch House. The man was identified as an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member.

Subsequently, search warrants were conducted at the address and two vehicles at the premises. Police located a rifle, a revolver, ammunition and ammunition components, suspected illicit drugs, suspected explosives and detonators.

AFP Specialist Response Group attended and removed the suspected explosive materials to render them safe.

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with breaching bail conditions.

Investigations regarding the seized items are ongoing, with a view to further charges.
