AN ACT couple have discovered their entry in the weekend’s Lotto draw has won first division and other divisional prizes totalling $591,440.22!

The elated couple admitted they haven’t had much sleep since they checked their division one winning ticket after the draw on Saturday night.

“We’d been out on Saturday night but as soon as we arrived home my husband checked his Lotto tickets as he does each week after the draw,” the excited winning wife explained.

“After a few minutes he called out to me to come and give him a kiss. As soon as I did, he showed me the Lotto ticket and declared we’ve won Lotto!

“I just screamed out, ‘Yahoo! We’re debt-free!’ We were so excited after that we couldn’t go to sleep so we made a few phone calls to tell family our big news!

“It’s such an indescribable feeling after you win. Right now I feel relief, elation but I’m also wandering around in a fog.

“We’ve played Lotto for more years than I can remember. We’ve had a few little wins over that time but I never thought we’d win first division!

“After we pay off our debts, I think we’ll go on a much-needed holiday.”

The winners have chosen to remain anonymous.

The division one winning System 8 QuickPick entry was purchased at Charnwood Newsagency.

This is the second big win in less than eight months for the outlet which sold a $1 million division one winning ticket in Monday Lotto draw 3506 on 23 November 2015.
