Teen nabbed with hunting knife

police carA 14-year-old boy will face the ACT Children’s Court next month after he was reported loitering with a knife in Kambah.

Police found him with a spring-loaded folding knife, a large hunting knife, a clown mask, baclava and drug paraphernalia in his pocket and backpack.

Police arrived at Jenke Circuit at 11.10am yesterday after reports that the boy was seen entering a shop, hiding a knife.

The teenager has been arrested and charged with providing a false name and address, as well as, two counts of possessing a knife without reasonable excuse.

He will face the ACT Children’s Court on November 21.
