Person rescued from car in Gungahlin

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person from a car following a crash between a car and a truck at the intersection of The Valley Avenue and Gungahlin Drive.

The crash happened at about 12pm today (August 6) and the person who was rescued was stabilised and treated on scene before transporting to Canberra Hospital.

Police are managing traffic and advised the community to avoid the area if possible.
