House fire in Fadden

ACT FIRE & Rescue has extinguished a house fire on Appel Crescent, Fadden.

Firefighters contained damage to the kitchen area, and believe the fire started in an oven.

Two occupants self-evacuated from the property and called Triple Zero (000).

HAZMAT crews are on the scene conducting atmospheric monitoring.

No injuries have been reported.
